Satterfield & Pontikes Construction Acquires Specialty Construction Firms
Houston-based Satterfield & Pontikes Construction has acquired A.G. Peltz Group and Abramson, expanding its specialized paving and heavy civil construction capabilities.
Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, Inc. (S&P) has acquired A.G. Peltz Group, LLC and Abramson, LLC, combining them into a specialty paving and heavy civil construction platform. BaseRock Partners served as the exclusive financial advisor to S&P for the transaction.
The Alabama-based companies, A.G. Peltz and Abramson, bring expertise in roller-compacted concrete (RCC) paving, slip-form paving, and other concrete construction services. Together, they possess over 65 years of combined operating history and have received industry awards for project excellence.
S&P, headquartered in Houston, is a general contractor with over 35 years of experience in industrial, mission-critical, and aviation projects. The company has a track record of acquiring and integrating specialist self-perform contractors.
The acquisition is expected to enhance S&P's capacity for larger and more complex infrastructure projects by integrating the acquired firms' specialized concrete paving expertise with S&P's scale and project platform. The combined entity aims to maintain the operational leadership and customer relationships of A.G. Peltz and Abramson.
