Saudi Arabia to Host Major Global Sports and Cultural Events

Saudi Arabia is preparing for a landmark event year, hosting a series of globally significant competitions and cultural celebrations throughout the 2025/26 winter season and beyond. New events, such as the WWE Royal Rumble, are set to bring international stars and athletes to the kingdom.

The kingdom is increasingly establishing itself as a hub for international sports and entertainment. The event calendar includes iconic sporting tournaments like the world-renowned WWE Royal Rumble, which will mark its first-ever occurrence outside North America. Riyadh is slated to host the 39th Royal Rumble on January 31, 2026, bringing major wrestling stars together for a dramatic showdown.

Saudi Arabia will also host a Formula E race, scheduled for February 13–14, 2026. These, alongside a wide array of other global championships, premieres, and cultural milestones, underscore the nation's ambition to position itself as a multifaceted destination.
