Saudi Arabian automotive startup Ceer has revealed its first electric vehicle models, the Exobot sedan and SUV, characterized by their sharp angles and futuristic aesthetic.
The company announced plans to launch these vehicles in Saudi Arabia starting in 2027, with a broader goal of introducing five more models by 2030. The unveiling marks Saudi Arabia's entry into the increasingly competitive electric vehicle manufacturing sector.
The Exobot's design features distinctive gullwing doors and a sharp, angular body. While specific technical specifications have not been fully detailed, the vehicles are positioned as hyper-modern, aiming to capture attention in the global EV market.
Ceer, established in 2022, aims to contribute to the Kingdom's economic diversification strategy, moving beyond its traditional reliance on oil production. The company is a joint venture between the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. (Foxconn).
The launch of the Exobot models signifies Ceer's ambition to establish a significant presence in the automotive industry, both domestically and potentially internationally, by offering distinctive and technologically advanced electric vehicles.
