The SBC Summit 2026 in Lisbon will introduce a new AI Academy offering practical training on AI applications within the gambling industry.

SBC, an organizer of sports betting and iGaming events, has announced the launch of its new AI Academy as part of the SBC Summit 2026. Scheduled for September 29, 2026, in Lisbon, Portugal, the one-day educational track will feature practical workshops and expert-led sessions.
The AI Academy's curriculum will cover topics such as machine learning in sports data, autonomous AI agents, defense against deepfake fraud, and building custom AI assistants. The program aims to equip attendees with practical skills and knowledge on AI's diverse applications.
A key highlight includes a workshop where attendees will build, test, and deploy their own AI assistant tailored for immediate implementation in marketing, CRM, or data analytics roles. The academy is part of the broader SBC Summit event, which expects to draw approximately 40,000 industry professionals from September 29 to October 1, 2026.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, emphasized the academy's hands-on approach, stating the goal is for attendees to understand AI's strengths and limitations and leave with immediately applicable skills. The academy offers in-depth insights into AI's development and its impact within the gaming and sports sectors.
