Helsinki, September 18, 2026 – Scailarc, Nokia, and Elisa have successfully demonstrated a new mobile calling experience powered by IMS Data Channel technology. This technology allows customers to complete important service tasks even when they cannot answer a call in the traditional manner.
The proof-of-concept utilized IMS Data Channel, enabling the transmission of interactive and visual information during a call. This opens up new avenues for customer service and other real-time communication services where sharing data and visual content is essential.
