ScaleFlux unveils PCIe Gen6 NVMe SSD and CXL 3.2 memory controllers
ScaleFlux has released its FC6116 PCIe 6.0 NVMe SSD controller and MC600 PCIe Gen6 / CXL 3.2 Type 3 memory controller, expanding its portfolio of high-performance solutions.

ScaleFlux, a provider of storage and memory solutions, has launched its new FC6116 PCIe 6.0 NVMe SSD controller and MC600 PCIe Gen6 / CXL 3.2 Type 3 memory controller. These releases expand the company's high-performance product offerings to meet evolving data center demands.
The FC6116 SSD controller supports PCIe 6.0 x4 interface, reaching sequential read speeds of up to 28GB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 25GB/s. It delivers high IOPS performance, with random read speeds up to 7,000K IOPS and sustained random writes exceeding 1,000K IOPS for 4KB files. The controller operates at under 9W in active mode and is compatible with SLC, TLC, and QLC NAND flash. It supports various form factors, including EDSFF E1.S, E1.L, E3.S, E3.L, and U.2/U.3, supporting up to 256TB capacity. ScaleFlux designed the FC6116 for large-scale AI storage deployments, offering full PCIe Gen6 x4 bandwidth and improved total cost of ownership.
The MC600 memory controller is built on a PCIe Gen6 PHY and adheres to the CXL 3.2 specification. In a PCIe Gen6 x8 configuration, it consumes less than 9W. It supports DDR5 memory in a 2DPC quad-channel (40-bit per channel) configuration and DDR4 memory in a 2DPC dual-channel (72-bit per channel) setup. The controller is compatible with RDIMM and UDIMM memory modules. When paired with DDR5, it can achieve capacities up to 2TB. It is available in form factors like PCIe AIC and EDSFF E3.S, with samples planned for Q4 2026.
These new controllers highlight ScaleFlux's commitment to advancing storage and memory technology to support the increasing demands of data-intensive applications like AI and high-performance computing.
