Scan Sverige acquires Slaktarkorv
Scan Sverige is acquiring Slaktarkorv, adding another established brand to its portfolio. The move aims to further strengthen Swedish food production, particularly in sausages and charcuterie.

Scan Sverige, a subsidiary of Lantmännen, has agreed to acquire the Slaktarkorv brand. The transaction, expected to be completed on April 1, 2026, will enhance Swedish food production and expand Scan's offerings in the sausage and charcuterie market.
Founded in 2013 by agricultural entrepreneurs Åsa Lillbro and Per Karlsson, Slaktarkorv has become a recognized brand known for its products made exclusively with 100 percent Swedish meat. Scan Sverige already manages the processing and production of Slaktarkorv under a cooperation agreement.
"Our goal at Scan Sverige is to increase the availability and range of Swedish meat and charcuterie, and this acquisition is another step in that direction," stated Lars Appelqvist, MD of Scan Sverige. He noted that Slaktarkorv has experienced solid growth in turnover and volume, with significant potential for further development.
Scan Sverige is the leading meat and charcuterie company in Sweden, owned by Lantmännen. The acquisition is expected to bolster Scan's market position by integrating Slaktarkorv's specialized product lines into its existing portfolio.
