Scandic Assumes Responsibility for Dalata Hotel Operations
Scandic Hotels Group has taken over the operational responsibility for 56 Dalata hotels under a management agreement. The hotel operations are intended for future acquisition by Scandic.

Scandic Hotels Group began managing the hotel operations of Dalata Hotel Group plc on November 7, 2025, as per a previously announced management agreement. This follows the completion of Pandox AB and Eiendomsspar AS's public offer for Dalata. A process to separate Dalata's real estate from its hotel operations has been initiated and is expected to conclude in the latter half of 2026.
Under the agreement, Scandic will oversee and manage the operations of all 56 Dalata hotels, comprising approximately 12,000 rooms. Dalata's existing management team will continue to lead daily operations with support from Scandic representatives. Scandic will receive a quarterly management fee of 4% of all revenues generated from the hotels' operations until the intended acquisition is finalized.
Upon completion of the separation process and Scandic's intended acquisition, the company anticipates a purchase price of EUR 500 million. This transaction establishes Scandic's presence in the Irish and UK hotel markets, with the full purchase price to be financed through cash and debt facilities.
