Scandic Hotels Group completes acquisition of Dalata hotel operations

Scandic Hotels Group has concluded its acquisition of 57 hotel operations previously held by Dalata Hotel Group. The transaction adds approximately 12,500 rooms to Scandic’s portfolio, along with an additional pipeline of 1,600 rooms currently under development.

The deal was valued at EUR 500 million on a cash and debt-free basis. Scandic utilized a combination of existing cash reserves and loan facilities established under the company's long-term financing framework, which was disclosed in July 2026.

This acquisition marks a significant expansion of Scandic’s operational footprint. The company is now focused on integrating the new properties into its existing management structure and service standards.
