Scandic Hotels to hold general meeting via postal vote

Scandic Hotels Group AB has announced its upcoming extraordinary general meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, April 21, 2021. The company issued the notice on March 29, 2021.

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be conducted solely through advance voting, commonly known as postal voting, in accordance with temporary legislation. There will be no physical meeting for shareholders to attend in person or by proxy.

A key item on the agenda is the board of directors' proposal to approve the issuance of convertible bonds. The resolution concerns a loan facility of up to SEK 1,800,000,000 that will be convertible into shares in Scandic.

Shareholders wishing to participate must be registered in the share register as of April 13, 2021. Notification of participation is done by casting an advance vote no later than April 20, 2021. The completed advance voting form serves as the notification and must be submitted to Euroclear Sweden AB via email or post.
