Scandic Named Denmark's Best Workplace for Diversity Again
Scandic Hotels has once again been recognized as Denmark's Best Workplace for Diversity in 2024. The hotel chain also secured third place among the country's largest workplaces.
Scandic Hotels was honored as Denmark's Best Workplace for Diversity in 2024 at the annual Great Place To Work awards ceremony. The hotel chain also achieved third place in the ranking of Denmark's largest workplaces. The diversity award highlights the hotel chain's focus on inclusion and employee well-being, reflected in a workforce representing over 100 nationalities.
This recognition follows previous accolades. Scandic won the diversity award (formerly the inclusion award) in 2015, 2018, and 2019, and was nominated in 2023. In 2017, the company was named Denmark's Best Workplace among large companies. The rankings are based on employee responses in the annual employee satisfaction survey.
"We are extremely proud to receive the diversity award once again. Scandic's entire culture is built on creating space for everyone, so this award has a very special meaning for us," stated Anne Mette Pedersen, HR Director at Scandic. She emphasized the importance of employee well-being and the continuous work on inclusion and development.
Scandic Hotels Group is the largest hotel company in the Nordics, operating approximately 280 hotels. In Denmark, Scandic manages 27 hotels.
