Scandic Hotels has opened its newest hotel, Scandic Frankfurt Hafenpark, located near the Main river and the European Central Bank. The hotel features 505 rooms and emphasizes meeting facilities and sustainability.
Scandic Hotels has opened its newest hotel, Scandic Frankfurt Hafenpark, in a prime location in Frankfurt, close to the Main river and the European Central Bank. The hotel, which opened on March 1, 2023, offers 505 rooms and event space for up to 570 people.
The hotel is part of the new Hafenpark Quartier Frankfurt development and is designed to blend Nordic style with its surrounding park environment. A key feature is its extensive meeting and event facilities, including a 600-square-meter ballroom with Germany's largest Skyfold wall system, contributing to a total of 14 conference rooms.
Guest rooms at Scandic Frankfurt Hafenpark are designed with circularity in mind, utilizing environmentally certified and recycled materials. The hotel aims for Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification upon its introduction in Germany and the property is intended to achieve DGNB Gold environmental certification.
This opening marks Scandic's sixth hotel in Germany, bringing their total room count in the country to 2,150. The hotel also includes a 320-seat restaurant and bar.
