Scandic Hotels Group AB finalized a new long-term financing arrangement worth SEK 7.5 billion (approximately EUR 665 million) on July 2, 2026.

The agreement has an initial term of three years and can be extended for an additional two years. This move aims to bolster the hotel group's financial flexibility and support its ongoing expansion initiatives, notably the planned acquisition of Dalata Hotel Group.

DNB and Nordea Bank Abp, filial i Sverige acted as the coordinating bookrunners and mandated lead arrangers for the financing. The framework is provided by a syndicate of relationship banks, including DNB, Nordea, Allied Irish Banks, Barclays, Natwest, Swedbank, and Swedish Export Credit Corporation.

Scandic operates as the largest hotel company in the Nordic region, managing approximately 320 hotels with 68,000 rooms across more than 150 destinations. The company is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
