Scania and Bruno Generators Group expand partnership into US market
Scania and Bruno Generators Group are debuting a new series of Tier 4 Final-compliant power generation units at the Powergen International 2024 exhibition in New Orleans.

Scania has extended its collaboration with the Bruno Generators Group to target the U.S. power generation sector. The partnership aims to deliver high-performance equipment that meets stringent Tier 4 Final emission standards.
At the Powergen International 2024 event, the two companies are showcasing Tecnogen-branded gensets powered by Scania engines. A key exhibit is a 1000 kVA Twin Genset unit, featuring dual DC16 engines. These systems are designed for high load capacity and efficiency, with the added capability of operating on hydro-treated vegetable oil (HVO) to lower carbon footprints.
Jorg Franzke, President of Scania USA, noted that the engines prioritize fuel economy and reliability, backed by a global support network. This expansion reflects a broader industry move toward sustainable energy solutions as stakeholders address long-term decarbonization goals.
