Scania Group has announced the appointment of Do Young Kim as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the Executive Board. Kim is set to assume his new responsibilities on February 1, 2025, reporting directly to President and CEO Christian Levin.
Kim joins Scania from his position as CFO for International, another brand within the TRATON Group. He brings extensive industry experience, including his role as project lead for the TRATON Group's IPO readiness and execution, as well as for the acquisition of International. Previously, he led the TRATON Group's treasury department.
"I'm delighted to welcome Do Young to Scania as our new CFO. His extensive industry experience and holistic view on performance and company value creation, originating from a commercial focus, align well with Scania’s core value of Customer first," said Christian Levin, President and CEO of Scania and TRATON Group.
Do Young Kim will replace Jonas Rickberg, who is leaving Scania to become CFO of Skanska Group. Kim's previous roles within the automotive industry, including in joint ventures like Beijing Benz Automotive and Mercedes-Benz Korea, are expected to support Scania's ongoing integration within the TRATON Group.
