Scania Celebrates 30 Years in Chile With Limited Edition Truck
Scania is marking its 30th anniversary in Chile by launching a limited edition Scania SUPER 6x2 truck. The special model combines advanced engineering with a unique design honoring the brand's history.
Scania is celebrating three decades of operations in Chile with the launch of a limited edition Scania SUPER 6x2 truck. Only 30 units of the "30th Anniversary Special Edition" will be produced, developed in collaboration with specialists from Svempas.
The special edition features the Scania SUPER 6x2 chassis equipped with a 560 hp Euro 6 engine and a completely renewed powertrain. This configuration aims to achieve up to 8% fuel savings through features like Active Prediction cruise control, an optimized gearbox, and a new differential axle. The truck also incorporates a full air suspension system for a smoother and safer ride.
Additionally, the model introduces Scania's largest and most comfortable C23 cab to Latin America, featuring an optimized interior and the new Scania Smart digital dashboard for enhanced driver experience and fleet connectivity. Advanced safety systems, including lane change assist and blind spot detection, are also included.
Alongside the special edition truck, Scania Chile has announced a $15 million investment plan through 2026 for the modernization and relocation of its branches across the country, aiming to improve service and operations.
