Scania has recently introduced several new electric models and technologies. These include its first battery-electric CrewCab for rescue vehicles and a new under-cab battery module along with a Megawatt Charging System (MCS), which significantly speeds up charging times.
The company also previously announced one of Sweden's largest electric bus deals, involving the delivery of 91 fully electric buses to the Södertälje region starting in June 2027. Scania is heavily investing in electrification across various transport sectors.
