Scania Overhauls Fleet Management Services in Australia

Scania has introduced a significant overhaul of its fleet management and aftersales services in Australia, launching the new Services 360 program. This initiative aims to provide transport, logistics, and fleet operators with greater predictability and productivity by offering a wider range of services in tailored packages.

The Services 360 program comprises four distinct packages, each offering increasing levels of support and coverage. Customers can opt for add-on services to further customize their chosen package, aligning Scania's support with specific business needs. The program integrates new digital tools accessible via desktop and mobile devices, designed to help operators monitor vehicle performance, efficiency, and uptime.

"Our aim is to match our support levels to each business’ needs," said Stefan Weber, Scania Australia’s Director of Aftersales. He highlighted that the simplification of the offering, incorporating customer feedback and the latest digital technologies, is key. The goal is to ensure vehicles are productive by automating routine tasks and providing valuable insights, thereby reducing the administrative burden on fleet managers and drivers.

The tiered structure of Scania Services 360 includes CORE, offering flexible maintenance and digital services; PLUS, which adds driveline repair coverage; and FULL, providing comprehensive repair and maintenance. This flexibility allows customers to select the level of service that best suits their operational strategy and budget, ensuring they pay for the coverage they deem most beneficial.
