Scania Rent Provided Hooklift Truck for Student Festivities
Scania Rent leased a hooklift truck to transport company Esko Valtee Oy, which used it for student celebrations and while its own vehicles were undergoing maintenance.
Scania Rent, the rental service of vehicle manufacturer Scania, supplied a Scania R770 hooklift truck for use during the 'penkkarit' (a Finnish student tradition) celebrations in Nurmijärvi. Transport company Esko Valtee Oy utilized the service as an additional vehicle.
The rental allowed the transport company to quickly acquire a hooklift truck when its own fleet was simultaneously undergoing maintenance. This ensured that regular work operations could continue without interruption.
Company CEO Sini Itkonen noted that the rental truck was also needed when more students than anticipated participated in the 'penkkarit' procession, preventing the need to use the company's older fleet.
Scania Rent offers a wide selection of trucks for short-term and long-term rentals, catering to diverse business transport needs and covering periods when company vehicles are unavailable due to servicing.
