Scania Tanzania Seeks Project Manager for Office Renovation

Scania Tanzania Ltd has initiated a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Construction Consultant/Project Manager to oversee the renovation of its main office building located along Nyerere Road in Dar es Salaam. Proposals are due by August 26, 2022.

The primary objective of this consultancy is to assist Scania in securing adequate external resources, specifically an Architect and a Contractor, and to provide professional project management services. The selected consultant will be responsible for guiding Scania in selecting these resources, managing the project budget, and overseeing the construction and renovation process.

The project manager will be tasked with ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This includes assisting with procurement processes for architectural and contracting services, coordinating professional teams, developing a comprehensive project management plan, managing risks, and providing bi-weekly progress reports to a designated committee.
