Scania is set to present its first battery-electric CrewCab designed for fire, airport, and civil rescue services at the upcoming Interschutz exhibition in Hanover, Germany, scheduled for June 1-6, 2026. The event theme, "Safeguarding Tomorrow," aligns with the company's focus on technological innovation and sustainability in emergency response.

The new electric CrewCab aims to meet the evolving demands of modern emergency operations, combining Scania's long history of engineering with flexible solutions for critical situations. The company emphasizes its commitment to reliability and adaptability in its product development for the rescue sector.

Alongside the electric CrewCab, Scania's display at Interschutz will feature a broader ecosystem of solutions. This includes a battery-electric P-cab truck, vehicles equipped with the new Scania Super 11 engine, and the V8 engine. The exhibition will also showcase charging hardware options, complete charging solutions, and vehicle safety systems like camera solutions and the ProRemote control system.
