SCANOLOGY has launched the AirGO Pad, a mobile computing unit designed to perform 3D scanning, inspection, and reporting directly at the production site.
Hangzhou-based SCANOLOGY has introduced the AirGO Pad, an integrated hardware and software solution aimed at streamlining industrial measurement tasks. The device combines a portable touchscreen workstation with industrial-grade 3D inspection software, allowing engineers to process measurement data immediately after scanning, rather than relying on external computing infrastructure.
By moving data analysis to the factory floor, the platform aims to reduce the cycle time between initial part inspection and the generation of quality reports. The unit is designed for environments where portability and rapid decision-making are critical for production workflows.
This release reflects a broader industry push toward edge computing in quality control. As manufacturers face increasing pressure to shorten lead times, the ability to conduct full-cycle inspection locally provides a technical alternative to conventional, desk-bound measurement systems.
