Scavenger AI secures €2.5 million seed funding to boost SME data analytics
Scavenger AI has raised €2.5 million in seed funding to enhance data accessibility for European SMEs through its AI-powered platform.

Frankfurt – Scavenger AI, a company providing AI-driven data solutions, has secured €2.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen mbH, with participation from xdeck, High-Tech Gründerfonds, and Calm/Storm Ventures.
The company plans to utilize the capital to accelerate product development and expand its European market presence. Scavenger AI aims to simplify how businesses access and utilize their data via an AI platform that allows natural language queries. This addresses a significant gap, as an estimated 70% of European SMEs do not currently use modern business intelligence solutions.
Founders Felix Beissel and Maximilian Hahnenkamp emphasize the need for a European alternative to US tech firms, focusing on solutions that are secure, explainable, and tailored to European needs, while adhering to GDPR compliance and European data hosting standards.
Scavenger AI already serves clients including Telekom, Mann & Schröder, and Wangen Pumpen. The company's objective is to empower all employees with data analysis capabilities without requiring coding or extensive technical expertise, thereby enabling faster, data-informed decision-making.
