Schäfer Shop adds waste press to product line

Schäfer Shop, a supplier of business equipment, has introduced the HanseLifter® LiftPress LP1100 waste press into its product catalog. This device is intended for use with standard waste containers that have capacities ranging from 800 to 1100 liters.

The waste press is designed to reduce the volume of waste within containers by at least 50 percent. The company suggests this can lead to lower waste disposal costs for businesses. The press operates by applying pressure from the bottom of the container upwards against a press plate, a mechanism intended to prevent damage to the container or its wheels.

The unit includes a SDJ 1016 high lifter, onto which the press can be easily mounted. The waste press comes with a three-year warranty. The total weight of the press is 40 kg, and the combined height with the lifter is 2205 mm.
