Schlager Star Michelle to Make Final TV Appearance
German schlager singer Michelle will perform for the last time on television during Florian Silbereisen's "Schlagerbooom Open Air 2026" show in Austria. The artist officially concluded her stage career with a farewell tour in February.
Schlager artist Michelle has confirmed her final television appearance will be on Florian Silbereisen's "Schlagerbooom Open Air 2026 – Die Stadionshow in Österreich". The singer officially ended her musical career in February 2026 with a farewell tour titled "Zum letzten Mal – Flutlicht".
After more than 30 years on stage and millions of records sold, Michelle held her last concert in Berlin on February 15, her 54th birthday. She will now return for one final performance to bid farewell to her audience on ARD.
The show, hosted by Florian Silbereisen in the Kitzbühel Alps, is expected to be an emotional event. Besides Michelle's farewell, the program will feature artists including Andrea Berg, Nena, Anastacia, Maite Kelly, Beatrice Egli, and David Garrett. ARD has labeled the broadcast as "the biggest open-air TV show of the year".
"Schlagerbooom Open Air 2026" is scheduled to air on ARD on Saturday, June 27, starting at 8:15 PM CET. It will also be available on the ARD Mediathek streaming service.
