Schneider Electric Expands AI Data Center Power Modules to 2.5MW

Schneider Electric has expanded its portfolio of AI-ready infrastructure with a new generation of prefabricated power modules and skids. These systems are designed to provide scalable, resilient, and faster-to-deploy power capacity for hyperscale, neocloud, and colocation data centers, addressing the growing demands of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.

The new solutions are immediately available in Europe and offer power capacities ranging from 2MW to 2.5MW per module. They are powered by Schneider Electric's Galaxy VXL (GVXL) uninterruptible power supply technology. The 2.5MW configuration marks the company's largest single-container prefabricated power solution to date.

The modules are based on Schneider Electric's latest reference designs developed with NVIDIA, incorporating integrated power management and liquid-cooling controls for the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 platform. Schneider Electric states that the standardized architecture can reduce deployment timelines to as little as six months, enabling customers to bring high-performance computing, AI training clusters, and GPU-intensive workloads online more rapidly.

The systems are engineered, manufactured, and tested at the company's recently expanded facility in Sant Boi de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain. Following the European launch, the portfolio is scheduled to become available in North America later in 2026, with additional global markets, including Asia-Pacific, to follow.
