Schnippering GmbH & Co. KG Enters Restructuring Process with Support from dhpg and MB International
Hugo Schnippering GmbH & Co. KG has initiated a preliminary self-administration procedure with the court, allowing for restructuring under its own management. The company is supported by dhpg and MB International.

Hagen/Bonn – On March 11, 2016, the Hagen District Court, upon request from Hugo Schnippering GmbH & Co. KG, ordered the initiation of a preliminary self-administration procedure. This enables the company to conduct its restructuring under its own management while retaining control over its assets during the process.
The company faced financial strain due to delayed production starts for significant, investment-requiring new projects, despite a satisfactory order situation. Schnippering GmbH & Co. KG possesses decades of expertise in stamping and injection molding technology, as well as assembly manufacturing, serving both national and international automotive markets.
The restructuring effort is supported by experienced professionals: lawyers Peter Staroselski and Dr. Ralf Bornemann from dhpg, and corporate consultant Michael Butz from MB International Consulting. The court has appointed lawyer Dr. Peter Neu from the law firm ATN d’Avoine Teubler Neu as the preliminary administrator.
Business operations and production are continuing without interruption. The objective for all involved parties is to develop a viable and sustainable restructuring plan through the initiated procedure. In recent years, the company significantly modernized its production facilities and replaced outdated product lines with new ones, requiring substantial investment in plant technology and component development.
