SCHURTER AG introduces new high-voltage fuse for electric vehicles

SCHURTER AG has introduced the ALO series, a new high-voltage DC fuse developed specifically for electric vehicle (EV) applications. The fuse is rated for voltages up to 1000 VDC and currents up to 900 amps.

The product line covers voltage ratings from 250 to 1000 VDC and current ranges from 100 to 900 A. The ALO series fuses offer a high breaking capacity of up to 50 kA and are designed for an operating temperature range of -40 to +125 °C.

SCHURTER AG provides design flexibility with options for axial mounting or bottom bolt-on mounting. The housing is available in either ceramic or resin, with end caps made from a tin-plated copper alloy.
