Swiss component manufacturer SCHURTER AG has inaugurated a new office in Hong Kong, marking a strategic expansion in the Asian market. The company has moved its regional headquarters from Singapore to Hong Kong and rebranded its local entity to SCHURTER Electronics Hong Kong Ltd. This move is accompanied by the integration of its factories in China to optimize production capacities.
SCHURTER views the Asian market as having significant growth potential. Guanghua Yang, General Manager and Vice President for the Asia Region, stated that the opening represents "a milestone day for SCHURTER Group, SCHURTER Asia and SCHURTER Hong Kong." The company intends to develop operations in China and India into key bases within Asia to enhance its ability to serve regional markets and customers.
