Mithis Entertainment has announced its classic real-time tactics game, Nexus: The Jupiter Incident, is available for free on the GOG platform. The promotion runs until July 6 at 9 PM Beijing time.

Originally released in 2004, Nexus: The Jupiter Incident focuses on space fleet command without traditional base building or resource management. Players control a small number of capital ships, customizing their loadouts and engaging in tactical real-time combat.

The game is set in the 22nd century, where players assume the role of commander Marcus Cromwell. The narrative begins with humanity encountering an unknown alien force near Jupiter, which leads to an interstellar war.
