Süddeutsche Zeitung to Host Sustainability Summit in Munich

Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) is set to host a summit on sustainability at Munich’s Urban Colab from June 23-24, 2026. The event will convene under the theme „Erfolgsfaktor Grün – die Stunde der Pragmatiker“ (Green Success Factor – The Hour of Pragmatists).

The summit aims to address how the green transition can be achieved in a pragmatic yet economically sustainable manner. It takes place during a period when climate policy measures and instruments, such as carbon pricing and climate targets, are facing public scrutiny.

Discussions will center on key decisions for the coming years, including the future of European industry, pathways for greater sustainability among individuals and companies, and strategies for Germany to prepare for the impacts of climate change.
