International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra has signed a partner agreement with S&S Partners, signaling its entry into Brazil's healthcare market. The agreement aims to bring Sectra's enterprise imaging solutions to hospitals across the country.
The primary commercial focus will be on Sectra One Cloud, a unified, cloud-based imaging platform designed to reduce operational complexity and enhance diagnostic care. Sectra CEO Torbjörn Kronander stated that leading Brazilian hospitals have shown interest in such integrated solutions, noting the market's momentum toward cloud-based systems.
Brazil's healthcare sector comprises approximately 7,100 hospitals, with the private sector driving significant investment in advanced imaging. The market is undergoing a transition from on-premise installations to cloud-based platforms utilizing subscription models, driven by the demand for scalable and operationally efficient solutions from major private hospital groups.
S&S Partners brings executive-level experience in the Latin American medical technology sector and established relationships with key private hospitals in Brazil. The company has already initiated commercial activities, including marketing efforts in anticipation of the Brazilian Radiology Congress. Sectra's enterprise imaging solution provides a unified approach to all imaging needs while aiming to lower operational costs.
