Sectra to deploy integrated reporting system at Mount Sinai Health System
Medical imaging company Sectra has signed an agreement with New York-based Mount Sinai Health System to implement a new unified radiology reporting module.
Sweden-based Sectra has secured a contract with Mount Sinai Health System to integrate its Sectra Reporting module into the health system's existing Sectra One Cloud enterprise imaging environment. The move aims to consolidate diagnostic imaging, artificial intelligence applications, and reporting into a single software interface.
The integration is designed to allow radiologists to transition directly from image analysis to report signing without exiting to external systems. This workflow consolidation is intended to reduce manual data handling and shorten overall report turnaround times for the facility.
By unifying these diagnostic tasks, the health system expects to create a more seamless experience for medical staff. The deployment marks an effort to streamline radiology operations within the New York hospital network.
