Sectra's Imaging Solution Expands to Denmark's New Region Østdanmark
Sectra will extend its enterprise imaging solution to Denmark's newly formed Region Østdanmark. The contract covers the integration of imaging services across the merged Capital Region and Region Zealand.

Swedish medical IT company Sectra has signed a contract to expand its Sectra One enterprise imaging solution to the entirety of Denmark's Region Østdanmark. The region was recently formed by the merger of the Capital Region and Region Zealand.
The Sectra One solution, delivered as a fully managed cloud service, was previously implemented in hospitals within the Capital Region. This new agreement extends its use to all hospitals across the new, larger region in eastern Denmark.
The goal of a unified imaging system is to enable hospitals to share resources more effectively. It will also provide clinicians with access to a patient's prior imaging studies, regardless of which hospital performed them.
This expansion aims to streamline healthcare services and improve patient care by consolidating imaging IT infrastructure across eastern Denmark. The agreement ensures Sectra's managed cloud service will support the region's imaging needs.
