Sectra's recurring cloud revenue exceeds SEK 1 billion
Medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra reported its first rolling 12-month recurring revenue from cloud services surpassing SEK 1 billion (approximately $96 million USD).
Linköping, Sweden – Sectra, a company focused on medical imaging IT and cybersecurity, announced that its recurring revenue from cloud services has exceeded SEK 1 billion on a rolling 12-month basis for the first time. This milestone highlights the company's growing adoption of cloud-based solutions in the healthcare sector.
For the third quarter of the fiscal year ending in June, Sectra's overall revenue increased by 17 percent to SEK 4.7 billion. However, the company's operating profit saw a decrease of 8 percent, reaching SEK 683 million. This dip in profit was attributed to significant resource allocation for ongoing large system installations.
CEO Tor Bergmark stated that the demand for Sectra's cloud-based offerings continues to rise. The company has made substantial investments in its cloud infrastructure and the scalability of its services, enabling efficient onboarding of new clients.
Sectra provides solutions for medical imaging management and archiving, alongside cybersecurity services. The company's business segments include medical systems and cybersecurity solutions. The increasing recurring revenue from its cloud operations is seen as a key factor in Sectra's strategy for achieving stable, long-term financial performance.
