Secunet Acquires Finally Safe GmbH to Expand Network Analysis
Secunet Security Networks AG has acquired all shares of finally safe GmbH, enhancing its portfolio in network security analysis. The acquisition integrates finally safe's technology into secunet's product offerings.
Secunet Security Networks AG has acquired all remaining shares of finally safe GmbH, a move that expands the company's product portfolio in network analysis. The acquisition integrates the Essen-based company's specialized technologies into secunet's existing offerings.
Finally safe GmbH, founded in 2015, focuses on creating transparency in IT and process networks, as well as detecting and providing early warnings for cyber attacks. Secunet previously held a majority stake in the company before completing the full acquisition.
"The technical expertise of finally safe GmbH in network analysis, anomaly detection, artificial intelligence, and machine learning perfectly complements our existing product portfolio," stated Axel Deininger, Chairman of the Management Board of secunet. He added that the move aligns with the company's strategy to provide more solutions for industrial and related sectors.
The finally safe GmbH product portfolio, including its "Advanced Security Analytics Platform," visualizes network communication, enhances network resilience, and expedites the identification of advanced cyber attacks. The system aims to detect and analyze vulnerabilities, close security gaps, and automatically identify anomalies through continuous network monitoring.
