Secunet AG Receives Contract Worth Millions for Network Infrastructure
secunet Security Networks AG has secured a contract worth over 90 million Euros for network infrastructure products and services for German public authorities.
Essen, Germany – September 2, 2008 – secunet Security Networks AG has been awarded a multi-million Euro contract for the delivery of products and services related to a large network infrastructure for public authorities in Germany. The contract was awarded by prime contractor EADS Secure Networks GmbH.
The project will be managed by secunet's "Government" business division. The deployed solutions will utilize high-security technologies from the SINA and secunet wall product lines. The framework agreement is valid for ten years and has a potential net sales value exceeding 90 million Euros.
For the current fiscal year 2008, orders totaling 1.5 million Euros have already been placed for deliveries. The contracting parties have agreed to keep further details of the framework contract confidential.
