Secunet, Red Hat and deepset develop AI cloud for classified data
The consortium is building a cloud-based AI service tailored for authorities and organizations that handle classified information, leveraging NVIDIA hardware.
Secunet, Red Hat, and deepset have announced a partnership to develop a cloud-based AI service aimed at government authorities and organizations requiring high-security standards for classified information (VS). The initiative, disclosed at NVIDIA GTC Berlin, seeks to combine sovereign cloud hosting with advanced AI capabilities.
The architecture is built on the foundation of secunet’s existing SINA Cloud, which uses NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPU technology to isolate security tasks at the hardware level. By integrating the Red Hat AI Factory and deepset's Haystack framework for agent orchestration, the platform aims to meet the regulatory requirements for handling sensitive data while maintaining flexibility and scalability.
According to the partners, the primary design principle is digital sovereignty, ensuring that organizations retain control over their AI models, applications, and data. The service will be hosted in secunet’s German data centers, with plans to invite further partners to contribute to the ecosystem as it develops.
