Secunet Security Networks AG reports strong start to fiscal year 2025
Secunet Security Networks AG has begun fiscal year 2025 significantly stronger than the previous year. Preliminary figures show substantial revenue growth and a positive turnaround in earnings.

Secunet Security Networks AG has experienced a considerably stronger start to fiscal year 2025 compared to the prior year. Preliminary group revenue for the first quarter reached approximately EUR 78.3 million, marking a significant increase of 35.9 percent year-on-year. The company's earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) turned positive, reaching approximately EUR 1.8 million, a substantial improvement from the EUR -5.6 million reported in the first quarter of 2024.
The robust revenue figures are attributed to orders placed by the end of the previous year and delivered in the first quarter of 2025, primarily within the Public Sector segment. The EBITDA margin also saw a considerable rise, moving from -2.6 percent to 8.4 percent.
Buoyed by this positive start, the executive board has confirmed the full-year 2025 forecast. The company anticipates group revenue of around EUR 425 million, with an expected EBIT margin between 9.5 and 11.5 percent. The projected EBITDA margin is between 14.5 and 16.5 percent.
