Securitas AB, a global security services provider, has announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, indicating a slight decline in overall sales but a simultaneous improvement in profitability.

During the period from April to June 2026, total sales amounted to SEK 37,843 million, compared to SEK 38,564 million in the same period of the previous year. Organic sales growth remained flat at 0 percent, though adjusted organic sales growth reached 3 percent. The company's technology and solutions segment experienced real sales growth of 5 percent, up from 4 percent in the prior year.

Operating income before amortization increased to SEK 2,824 million from SEK 2,798 million in the second quarter of 2025. The operating margin improved to 7.5 percent from 7.3 percent, with an adjusted operating margin of 7.6 percent. Earnings per share also saw an increase, reaching SEK 2.88 compared to SEK 2.56.

For the first six months of 2026, total sales were SEK 74,054 million, a decrease from SEK 78,170 million in the first half of 2025. Organic sales growth for the period was 0 percent. However, earnings per share for the first half improved to SEK 5.68 from SEK 4.86.

The company continues to focus on its strategy to increase the proportion of technology and solutions in its business mix. While profitability has improved, management indicated that they are not fully satisfied with the overall growth trajectory.
