SEDEMAC Reports 95% Profit Surge in Q1 on Increased Revenue

SEDEMAC Mechatronics, a company specializing in deep technology, has reported a significant increase in its first-quarter financial performance for fiscal year 2026-27. The company's net profit surged by 95.1% to ₹33.3 crore, a substantial rise from ₹17.1 crore recorded in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. This marks a strong start to the fiscal year for the mechatronics firm.

The profit growth was accompanied by a considerable increase in operating revenue, which climbed 42.5% year-on-year to ₹309.8 crore in the reported quarter. This growth indicates a heightened demand for SEDEMAC's advanced electronic control systems and solutions.

SEDEMAC's EBITDA also saw a healthy increase of 30% year-on-year, reaching ₹60 crore. However, the company's EBITDA margin declined to 19.4% from 21.2% in the prior year period. This decrease is attributed to rising raw material costs and supply chain constraints within the semiconductor industry. Despite this, the company anticipates its EBITDA margin to stabilize or improve for the remainder of the fiscal year.

The mobility segment was the primary revenue driver, contributing ₹281 crore, a 53.4% increase year-on-year. In contrast, the industrial solutions segment experienced a 15.7% decline in revenue, amounting to ₹28.7 crore. SEDEMAC has cumulatively sold over 13 million electronic control units to automotive and industrial OEMs across India, the US, and Europe.
