New Delhi: Non-banking financial company Seeds Fincap has completed a Series B funding round, raising over ₹100 crore (approximately $10.4 million). The round was led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, with participation from existing investors Z47 and Lok Capital, alongside new backers Norinchukin Capital and Alteria Capital.

The company plans to utilize the new capital to expand its branch network, enhance its risk management systems, and venture into new markets. Founded in 2021, Seeds Fincap provides credit products ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh to underserved individuals and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

Seeds Fincap employs a proprietary, cash-flow-driven assessment approach for underwriting, supported by technology and field operations. The company reported profitability in FY25 and FY26, with total disbursements of approximately ₹620 crore in FY26. As of August 2026, Seeds Fincap manages ₹722 crore in assets under management (AUM) and aims to reach ₹1,000 crore in AUM by March 2027.

As of August 2026, the company operated 164 branches and served over 70,000 active members. The Indian fintech market, particularly the lending technology sector, is projected for significant growth, with expectations to generate over $250 billion in revenue by 2030.
