Segway Gathers Shared Micromobility Partners in Changzhou
Segway convened over 60 shared micromobility operators and partners in China to discuss the sector's future and unveil new products.

Segway brought together more than 160 international guests, including representatives from over 60 shared mobility operators, in Changzhou on September 25, 2026. The event included factory tours, product launches, test rides, and discussions on operational challenges facing the industry.
A central theme was Segway's TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) framework, designed to help operators evaluate fleet profitability. This approach considers not only the purchase price but also operational expenses, maintenance, and vehicle lifespan.
Segway also launched its third-generation R1 electric scooter and the C-series e-bikes (C100 and C200) at the event. These new platforms were developed with operators, consumers, and cities in mind, focusing on availability, safety, and ease of use.
The company also presented the F100 electric bike for delivery services. Segway stated that the future of shared micromobility will involve extending vehicle lifespans and integrating fleets more effectively into urban transport systems.
