Senckenberg Society for Nature Research hires for Görlitz facility management

The Senckenberg Society for Nature Research has announced a vacancy for a facility management professional at its Görlitz location. The position, scheduled to commence in January 2027, is initially limited to a two-year contract and is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

The role involves the technical maintenance of research laboratories, HVAC systems, and electrical infrastructure, as well as the support of exhibition installations at the site’s museum. As the institution transitions to its new campus, the successful candidate will manage building automation systems and oversee external service providers.

Applicants are required to have a completed technical qualification in fields such as electrical engineering or mechatronics, supplemented by experience in technical building operations. Compensation is based on the German public sector pay scale (TV-L E 8).
