Sensitron releases 16-channel 270VDC programmable SSPC power module series
Sensitron Semiconductor has launched the SPHM/SEHM series, a networked power electronics module that combines circuit protection, load switching, and real-time monitoring.

Sensitron Semiconductor, based in Hauppauge, New York, has introduced a new 16-channel solid-state power controller (SSPC) series designed for 270VDC applications. The SPHM/SEHM series integrates circuit protection, load switching, and real-time system monitoring into a single COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) networked module.
This consolidation is aimed at manufacturers operating in the aerospace and defense sectors, where space and weight constraints are primary design drivers. By combining functions that previously required separate components into a unified module, Sensitron aims to reduce the physical footprint of power distribution architectures.
The modules feature networked communication capabilities, allowing for the transmission of diagnostic data for each of the 16 channels. This capability is intended to assist operators in monitoring system performance and identifying potential faults before they lead to critical failures.
