ServiceStamp Launches US Access to Manufacturer Service Records
ServiceStamp has launched in the United States, providing used car buyers instant access to official manufacturer service records via VIN. The service costs $14.99 per check.

ServiceStamp, a vehicle service history verification service, has officially launched in the United States. American used car buyers and sellers can now retrieve official manufacturer service records for a vehicle by entering its VIN. The service is available for $14.99 per vehicle history check.
While U.S. consumers can already access title status, accident history, and ownership records for used vehicles, verifying maintenance has remained a challenge. Conventional vehicle history reports often rely on voluntary reporting from repair shops, and paper receipts can be lost, incomplete, or falsified. ServiceStamp aims to bridge this gap by accessing digital service data directly from manufacturer (OEM) systems, the same records franchised dealerships utilize.
Following its UK launch in January 2026, the U.S. service covers nine brands from model year 2012 onwards: BMW, MINI, Porsche, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Kia, Polestar, and Volvo. For BMW, MINI, and Porsche, reports provide full service histories. For Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Kia, Polestar, and Volvo, the reports detail work performed by dealerships, including recalls and warranty repairs. The data can include service dates, odometer readings, work performed, and the servicing dealer.
"In the U.S., you can find out almost everything about a used car's past except whether anyone actually looked after it," stated Simon Brown, founder of ServiceStamp. "The dealer service records already exist in the manufacturer's system. ServiceStamp lets anyone see them in seconds, before they hand over their money." The service is designed to complement existing vehicle history reports, which typically focus on title, accident, and theft records.
