Servier Adopts Veeva OpenData Globally to Scale AI

Servier, a global pharmaceutical company, has implemented Veeva Systems' OpenData solution to standardize its customer reference data across more than 80 countries. This move aims to create a unified and AI-ready data foundation to support the company's strategic expansion of artificial intelligence capabilities.

The company, led by a foundation, is focused on harmonizing its customer data to enhance current operational processes and build a robust base for future AI applications. Servier anticipates that a globally consistent semantic layer and integration with Veeva Link will provide valuable insights for engaging with healthcare professionals in various markets.

"By centralizing our customer reference data using Veeva OpenData, we are not only improving our current processes but also creating a global, AI-ready data foundation that will redefine how we work," stated Liam Hanrahan, Director of World Operations Excellence at Servier. "This enables more effective and agile engagement in each market and drives the global scaling of AI."

Veeva OpenData is part of the broader Veeva Data Cloud, which also includes Veeva Link and Veeva Compass. The solution is designed to replace fragmented data silos and ensure the data consistency required for scaling advanced analytics and AI within the pharmaceutical industry.
