Sesame Software Introduces Migration Assessment for Salesforce Exits
Data management firm Sesame Software has launched a complimentary migration assessment to assist enterprises in moving data from Salesforce while maintaining integrity.

Sesame Software has released a free assessment service aimed at enterprises looking to migrate away from the Salesforce platform. The initiative is designed to provide businesses with a concrete, scoped migration plan and cost estimation by analyzing their current data architecture, addressing a common bottleneck in enterprise software transitions.
Many organizations are hesitant to switch CRM systems due to risks involving data loss, broken record relationships, and performance constraints associated with large-scale data exports. The Sesame Software migration process consists of five distinct phases: assessment, mapping, dry run, transfer, and verification. By providing a reconciliation report, the company aims to offer users evidence that their data remains intact before the final cutover.
"The hardest part of leaving a CRM isn't the decision. It's proving nothing gets lost on the way out," said Kristen Besselsen, Marketing Director at Sesame Software. The company notes that its platform is built to handle hundreds of millions of records using proprietary replication technology that functions independently of standard API limits.
Security remains a focal point, with the company maintaining SOC 2 Type II certification and supporting global regulations like GDPR and CCPA. The migration assessment is available immediately to organizations assessing their enterprise data infrastructure.
