Seso launches AI tools to automate farm administrative operations
Workforce platform Seso has integrated new AI features to help agricultural employers manage H-2A visa compliance, onboarding, and payroll.
Seso has updated its workforce management platform with a suite of AI-powered tools designed to manage administrative tasks for U.S. agricultural employers. The primary addition is Rootly, an AI assistant capable of retrieving compliance data, updating employment records, and answering questions regarding labor regulations.
Agricultural businesses often face significant administrative bottlenecks during harvest seasons when office staff is limited. The new features aim to address this by automating repetitive tasks, such as sorting worker documentation and auditing I-9 employment eligibility forms. Seso operates as a prominent processor of H-2A visas and manages payroll for farms across the country.
CEO Michael Guirguis stated that the platform is designed to provide small farm offices with the capacity of larger teams by automating back-office routines. Following this release, the company plans to introduce additional AI agents throughout 2027, focusing on food safety compliance and expanded HR functionalities.
