Shanghai Electric involved in record biomethanol bunkering operation

Shanghai Electric was involved in a significant maritime environmental operation on August 17, supplying 8,000 metric tons of biomethanol, marking the largest single bunkering operation to date.

The operation, conducted in partnership with Shanghai International Port Group and CMA CGM Group at the Port of Shanghai, has set a new world record. The initiative aims to advance sustainable fuel solutions within the shipping industry.
